Leather Care and Warranty

Important Things to Avoid

  • Avoid Sharp Tools:
When removing any protective wrapping, do not use sharp objects as they can easily puncture or scratch the leather surface.

  • Correct Handling:
Never lift or move your lounge by the cushions attached to the frame. Always lift the sofa from the base at each end to prevent structural damage.

  • Protect from Sunlight:
Keep your lounge out of direct sunlight. Extended exposure to sunlight can cause fading, drying, and cracking of the leather.

  • Avoid Sitting on Armrests or Backrests:
These parts are not designed for seating and may cause damage to the frame or distortion of the structure.

  • Keep Away from Heat Sources:
Maintain at least a 50 cm distance between your lounge and any heat source, including electric or gas heaters.

  • Use Only Approved Cleaning Products:
Never use solvents, abrasives, or shoe/saddle care products. Always use leather care products recommended for your specific leather type.

  • Allow Padding to Settle:
You may notice minor compression in the cushions after delivery. Lightly reshaping and using the lounge will help the padding and cushions regain their intended form.

  • Normal Wear:
Over time, leather will develop light creases, wrinkles, and slight stretching as the padding softens — this is a natural characteristic, not a defect.

  • Even Use:
Regularly alternate seating positions. Sitting in the same spot repeatedly will naturally soften that cushion more than others.

  • Handle Adjustable Parts with Care:
Do not stand, lean heavily, or apply force to adjustable arms or backs, whether in the original or reclined position.

    Regular Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and durability of your leather furniture, regular care is essential.
Do not allow dust to accumulate on the surface. Wipe the leather weekly using a soft, damp cloth.

If spills occur, remove them immediately using a soft, damp cloth or an absorbent paper towel. Apply light pressure and gently wipe from the outside of the spill toward the center to avoid spreading.
